Wed 15/06/22 our Wildlife Carer found a male koala on the roadside outside 2075 Walkerville Rd, on her way to work.

He looked so well and healthy, but on one side of his body he had taken the brunt of being hit by a vehicle.

We were able to assist by transporting the koala post haste to a Vet in Wonthaggi. They took x-rays and due to the very severe nature of his front and hind legs both  being fractured and the skin tears too, he was euthanised.
