10/9/23: I’d like to report the sighting of a Koala with a joey in Boolarra, Sunday 10-9-23 about 4pm. The koala was walking east along the road and climbed into a eucalypt (possibly Mountain Grey Gum). I was able to observe it for a short while using binoculars. As the koala jumped from branch to branch I observed a joey on its front. I remembered your Strzelecki Koala Map site and wanted to send you the information. The location of the eucalypt is represented by the red dot on the map near the intersection of Bastin and Young streets.
